"Girls with plastic surgery aren't pretty, they're monsters"
This movie was really something. I liked the whole idea of it. The qoute up there says it all doesnt it?
200 Pounds of Beauty follows Kang Ha-na and her phone sex and her secret backstage singing carrer. Hana is loved for her voice, never for her looks. She sings for someone else, a pretty girl known as Amy. Sang-jun (the director of her performances) is the love of her life but she knows that the way she looks will not win his heart. One day, she decides to get plastic surgery and becomes a star none other than Jenny. But who knows what will happen from there?
The whole concept of this movie was really nice. It was hilarious in its own ways and sometimes you just wanted to shout at Hana and tell her she was amazing. The story really pulls in friendship and being pretty. It's not all about that. If you think too much about what you look like to the point where you're fake, you're ugly only then. I liked this idea. I really did. First plastic surgery movie I've seen. It was really funny. I enjoyed it.
One hell of a great chick flick. Watch it, you better.
